@GeorgeDevonGra1 Because Hollywood has a long history of bullying and disrespecting writers. Even though they’re only a tiny part of the cost of a movie/show, execs consider them a bother and want to replace them.

@LauriDonahue Currently, it's the same thing that happened to copywrite it got extended due to lobbing from the studios. It will happen with AI generated scripts.
