I have seen more footage/first look previews and my view has certainly softened. Having melee weapons working like equipment and only having 1 currency streamlines a lot of the issues I had with Eternal. yall right tho the footage they posted here is just bad

I did not like doom eternal for the record, I thought they ruined all the good design/freedom/pacing from 2016 and shoehorned in stupid rock paper scissors mechanics that restricted gameplay in annoying ways instead of making it interesting. This looks like more of that but slow

i dont understand the commitment to making it look like a mobile game

especially with the direct comparison, this looks like it fucking sucks
