Mikko Rantanen has never been suspended in his 11 seasons in the NHL. His first suspension could be coming tomorrow after a gruesome hit. That was hard to watch.

This is not a good look, especially after what happened Tuesday. I would be pretty surprised if Rantanen doesn't get any further discipline from the league for this. Two game misconducts and a fine for embellishment in one week just isn't great...
Mikko Rantanen just hit Coronato into the boards, and there is a lot of blood. Major penalty called, so it's under review.

Pitt pulls off the upset of Georgia Tech. That means SMU is officially in control of its own destiny. If the Mustangs beat Cal next week, they are in the ACC championship game.

SMU certainly did its part by putting itself in this situation, but having your conference championship hopes in the hands of Boston College and Pitt and watching some of these horrific decisions over the last two weeks must be extremely painful.

So far so good for SMU this week — SMU beat Louisville, NC State beat Florida State and Miami beat Virginia Tech. The last thing that could happen this week to help SMU would be Pitt beating Georgia Tech tonight.

Final: SMU 38, Louisville 6 SMU dominates Louisville in its final home game of the season. SMU shut out Louisville for the entire second half. If SMU can beat Cal next week, the Mustangs have a path to the ACC championship but will need a little help.
