Even if Soldier F had been sentenced to life in prison, true justice would not have been done. The only justice that would suffice would be for every footsoldier to commander in chief to hang from Irish gallows for the world to see.

Bloody Sunday. This verdict comes to the surprise of no one in Derry. We know and have witnessed it first hand, well before today, that there is no British justice in Ireland. The soldiers were given shoot to kill orders to brutally suppress protesters for civil rights.

As part of his efforts in the Global March to Gaza Brian was detained by the Egyptian authorities and deported to Ireland. During his contribution he discussed his experience of the convoy, his solidarity activism and what should be done to support the Palestinian cause.
