Highlights of the article include: history of bacterial cancer therapies (first used in the 1800s!), bacterial delivery of cytokines and antigens, immune responses to engin bacteria, combining bacterial therapies with other immunotherapies, and the current clinical trial space!

I taught my first class today! After a summer of developing ideas it was amazing to see it all take shape. We had a great preliminary discussion asking "what is health and how can we engineer it?" I am so excited to learn from and teach my first year students!

Also thinking about the barriers to access this highlights: I had to know 1) when and where appts were being released to the minute and have 2) rock solid internet 3) the ability to read/fill the form quickly 4) time at 4pm to do this
