This weekend, I celebrate my birthday and one year since I began fundraising to eradicate #malaria. In the past year, I climbed the 14,690-ft Matterhorn and drove my motorbike 5,000km from London to the Sahara. Both undertakings were challenging, memorable, and rewarding.

Done! Started in darkness at 4.45 a.m. with headlamps, and the climb took 7 hrs 40 mins. I am not embarrassed to admit it was the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life. Considered turning around many times, but thoughts of this campaign, my family, and my dad, kept me going.
