The entire Larne High School community is deeply saddened to learn of the death of former pupil Leah Sloan/McCrea. We send our deepest sympathies to her family and friends. Leah, you never were, nor never will be, forgotten by you teachers here. Rest easy darling girl.

Another important question to consider in preparation for our parental ballot... Remember that we have a series of parent information sessions planned to help parents have a full understanding of a potential transformation to integrated status. The first session is on 30 April.

With a decision for parents to make about the future of our school coming soon, we have the following information sessions. We encourage all parents to make the most of these opportunities to learn about integration, think about what it could mean for LHS and ask questions.

Delighted that the Governors have voted to give parents a voice in the future of the school. Integrated status will have parents greater involvement in the school and increased representation on the Board of Governors. Parental ballot will take place mid-May.
