No proposal or manuscript is ever perfect, but to be effective, it does eventually need to be finished. Nothing we submit will ever be as good as it *could* be and just recognizing that can be an important step forward. Perfection is not the goal. Finished is the goal.

When we talk about "academic leaders" that usually means people with titles like dean and president. However, if you are a faculty member running a research group, then you also have a leadership job...and there's a good chance you weren't trained for it. https://t.co/eJUPHabLDy
