Penalties for passing a stopped school bus include:.- Moving violation subject to citation;.- Requirement to complete a basic Driver Improvement Course upon conviction;.- Four points on your driver’s license; and.- Minimum fine of $371. (2/2).

With the first day of school next week, the Largo Police Department wants to remind drivers of what to do when a school bus is stopped with its red lights flashing and STOP arms extended. (See diagram below). (1/2)
