Radiotherapy Open Morning this Saturday 26th April. This is an informative, supportive event that is held to provide patients with cancer who are due to undergo Radiotherapy treatment at Rosemere Cancer Centre a tour of the department.

From red to white, congratulations to Terry who is our first apprentice radiographer to qualify as a therapeutic radiographer at the Rosemere Cancer Centre.

A Rosemere legend and a big part of the Rosemere family has retired today, Elaine has worked at Rosemere for over 25 years and will be missed by the friends she has made and the colleagues she has worked with. Enjoy your well earned retirement Elaine!

Congratulations to Tracey Ellis and Peter Merry on their fantastic presentation at the BIR last week ‘Breaking the Therapeutic Radiography glass ceiling’ demonstrating the non traditional roles that therapeutic radiographers can successfully move into.

Nearly 2 years to the day of treating our 1st patient with SGRT we have gone live treating our 5th treatment site, Prostate radiotherapy with SGRT. It’s great to be able to keep expanding the benefits of Surface Guided Radiotherapy to more patients.

A great WRD day well done to the bake off winner and the duck hunt winners although no one found the cunningly placed duck by @Gillian0801!

Our radiographers, apprentice radiographers and students are on the stands to talk to people about Therapeutic radiography. They selling raffle tickets for @RosemereCF who have provided much needed funds to buy equipment to improve our patients cancer journeys.Come say hello!
