The trade doesnβt end with just the draft assets. If the Chiefs were hellbent on getting Breece in a trade, they would know that theyβd have to sign him a lucrative extension. Financials 100% played a role in that trade never being a true reality for the Chiefs.

Getting a long term answer at RB is a must for the Chiefs. Trading a 3rd for it and then paying $15+ mil per year isnβt the best course of action to get said long term answer.
