It was great to see everyone back after a restful holiday! We saw students excited for outdoor play, working together to make the letter S, trying out a new math resource (Times Table Rockstars), and rival football fans talking up the playoffs this weekend. @deltasd37

Way to go Eagles!We surpassed our 1500 Food Drive goal by over 1000 items for a total of 2502.We had an unbelievable crew of Grade 6s helping over the last two weeks lead by the amazing,Ms.Robinson. Thank you to everyone who contributed items to support the community. @deltasd37

Our annual festive door decorating contest is brightening up the hallways of LE. Mr. Wortley and Mrs. Matheson will announce the winning classes at our Term 1 celebration assembly next week! @deltasd37

Our annual LE Food Drive has officially begun! We have a great group of Grade 6 leaders and our first day was a success. Please continue to bring in non-perishable products to help us meet our goal of 1500 items. @deltasd37

Our annual Grade 7 vs. Staff volleyball was a great way to end the week. The students demonstrated great skill, sportsmanship and teamwork. Great job Eagles! @deltasd37

We love spirit days at LE! Great to see all of the Multiples throughout the school on Friday. Next up is our holiday spirit week from Dec 16-20. @deltasd37

We love when @laxgoalchief00 comes to visit us at LE! Nathan teaches us about his Indigenous culture and shares beautiful stories that have been passed on to him by his elders. Our K students got to hear the story of the spider yesterday. We hope to see you back soon! @deltasd37

Thank you to all of our families that were able to make it to parent teacher conferences this week. The relationship between families and schools is critical to the development of our students. We look forward to continuing to work together!

Orange shirt day at LE was a chance to reflect on the experiences of our Indigenous Peoples’ and how we can move forward through our journey to reconciliation. We continue to learn and heal together as a school and a district. @deltasd37

Our Terry Fox run was a huge success! Thank you to Mr. Smith and the students in Div 3 for your planning and leadership on this event. We collected toonies for Terry and continue to accept donations online. Way to go Eagles! @deltasd37
