I was blindsided today with an email from my ship tracking provider, Big Ocean Data, that I may no longer share any tracking information from them on any social media. Hence, we are currently changing providers, but things may be screwed up until we get up and running again.

#MH370 Just a quick update this morning as I work through some issues.

Progress towards #MH370 search. Armada 86 05 conducted AUV operations over the ATSB's seafloor test targets (in vicinity of S32.21º E114.70º, 110km west of Fremantle) & the vessel has established its transit to the search area. ETA is 1400UTC, 30th Dec.

#MH370 Armada 86 05 is now making almost 10 knots. They are approximately 550 nautical miles from where they left off, so that will be about 55 hours from the time of my posting. The wind is still around 16 knots, and the waves are running 2.5 meters. @BigOceanData

#MH370 Armada 86 05 continues west under improving weather conditions. They are still only doing 9 knots, but we hope for that to improve. Our current ETA at the search area is around 14:00, December 30. Subject to adjustments. #vesseltracking by @BigOceanData

#MH370 FYI - Once the vessel reaches the search area, we will be posting more frequent updates. 3, 4, or more depending on what’s happening.

#MH370 Armada 86 05 (Green) continues heading west while the winds have dropped slightly to 16 knots and the Wave Heights are now under 3 meters. They have sped up a little to 9 knots, but the vessel is still probably 3 to 4 days from the search area. @BigOceanData
