Research has shown that the public are not convinced by the 10 year NHS plan. We need to focus on the big picture. Not calorie counting, smoking, or quangos. We need more appointments. More GPs. More Nurses. Better results. That will win the election.

We must not cut funding for Special Needs Children. The Tories broke SEN funding. Labour must not cut it. We have to care for the most vulnerable children in our society. We hope the Chancellor does not go down this route.

Under the Labour government the service sector has grown at its fastest pace since summer last year. A sign of confidence in the British economy under this Labour government. Increased wages, stability, tough decisions in government are paying off.

Another great win for @AngelaRayner ensuring rural councils get support and also allowing insourcing. This will mean Councils can procure services, improve accountability and better improve conditions for staff.

If the NHS is to last a long term plan is needed. The use of technology, working with the private sector, prevention over cure, well trained and valued staff, reducing backroom costs. That is what must be done.

We cannot escape the fact that our position in the polls is not healthy. We know there have been difficult decisions to balance the economy and transform public services. The next twelve months must show the gains we have made and deliver for voters.

Why is there such a lot of commentary over the Chancellor. Sometimes people get upset? So what? We're all human. Wages are up. Business confidence is rising. Investment is up. Trade deals are up. That is what matters.
