Can you see photosynthesis? 🤔 We investigated how a light source affected the speed of photosynthesis by counting the number of bubbles produced by this pondweed each minute! Fabulous working scientifically skills by Y3 🙌🏻

We have started a gardening club and it’s my fav hour of the week❤️.We have tidied and repaired planters, planted raspberry’s, beans, potatoes, radish, turnips, squash, peas, tomatoes, onions & herbs! Next up seed bombs & animal homes ❤️ #OutdoorAdventures

A brilliant way to end the Y3 unit on bones, joints and muscles, the children dissected a chicken wing and were able to identify the muscles, bones, tendons and blood vessels that make up this joint! 👌🏻😀

It’s that time again! New committee members incoming! It’s Y5s turn to be replaced but with 27 applicants it’s a very tough job to get! We started with a practical interview and a building challenge - 12 finalists are through to the interview stage tomorrow!

Best science club ever! We investigated the effects of brown vs. white sugar on a cookie recipe! The results were delicious 🤤 .And we learnt about the difference in the sugars and why the brown sugars were more moist and tastier! 😊

Outdoor volcanos today with EYFS for @ScienceWeekUK We built 5 volcanos and added 1,2,3,4 or 5 teaspoons of sodium bicarbonate to each one - we then added vinegar and timed how long they took to erupt! 🌋
