@babyloonlet I haven't read the books. And I also don't understand why Ilya is so hated. It's all there: his background, his family,.... Connor Storrie's acting is excellent. As a viewer, you just have to have a little curiosity & empathy for the characters. And connect some dots on your own

people hating ilya and not understanding why he acts the way he does is so confusing to me. you don't even have to be a book fan, i feel like it's explained pretty well in the show

@LaDaphWrites I really LOVED the way this whole handshaking (or lack of) thing told us SO much about Shane and Ilya from their first meeting. Absolutely no exposition required ❤️

@LaDaphWrites This in the book is driving me up a wall cause Shane’s body keeps moving before his head completely wraps around what he is doing!! O my baby Shane 🥺 down bad is not a strong enough word!

I absolutely loved the first two episodes of #HeatedRivalry (had to put that out there!) Thinking back on them, I'm struck by how the series presents sex in such a raw, unfiltered way, exposing both the physical and emotional layers involved. Shane comes across as yielding, yet

"Sex is when they're vulnerable" is both beautiful and deeply true: sex between Shane and Ilya isn't just a physical release, it's the moment when they can let their guard down, be honest with each other, and let desire, fear, tenderness, and anger come to the surface. Sex is the
People bringing the “Ilya is toxic” takes. What’s toxic is hockey culture. That’s why these guys aren’t together. Even Shane’s mom is part of it👇 Shane will never give up hockey for Ilya. Ilya knows this. Ilya NEEDS hockey to avoid Russia. Sex is when they’re vulnerable 👶🐍

The urge to touch someone we're drawn to is a simple truth: the body speaks before we do. A small, timid, innocent gesture, yet one that can hold and reveal everything: desire, fear, curiosity, imagination, possibility. Shane keeps coming back to that outstretched hand: it's how

@LaDaphWrites Yes!❤️ Connor as Ilya is absolutely mesmerizing. He's been the embodiment of a gun with the safety off in the first two eps. The proverbial 'accident waiting to happen'. It's impossible to look away when he's on screen.

“Mile gives director team many options. Some are what the director wants and some are not. But the advantage of Mile is that he needs very little time to become what the director wants. He adapts to different directions fast and works well.” Mile Phakphum, you deserve all
