Final projects are in full swing in culinary! Cul. 1 created cooking videos for a recipe of their choice, Cul. 2 was challenged to create a dish using a “Chopped” inspired mystery basket, and Creative Cooking made yule logs without knowing what they were making! #Empower95

We’ve been learning all about grains in culinary 1! Students made fried rice and pineapple fried quinoa to get a side-by-side taste and visual of the similarities/differences between quinoa and rice. 🌾🍚 #Empower95 #BetterTogetherD95

Our culinary 1 students have been learning all about egg functions. This week, they made Angel Food Cake to demonstrate different stages of egg foams and how eggs serve as a leavening agent! #Empower95 #BetterTogetherD95

Our child development students had so much fun visiting May Whitney yesterday to read books to the kindergartners! They encouraged Ss to practice retelling a story. This was an amazing learning experience for everyone involved! #BetterTogetherD95 #Empower95
