Grace Hicks 2021 Regional Champ! Kendra Hiett lost a hard fought match in the finals to place 2nd. Both girls will compete next Saturday at Hilliard Davidson HS at the OHSWCA Girls State Tournament!

What a day for our girls! Even with a few starters out they were able to win the Williamsburg Invite in the first year of the program!! The growth this group has shown in 3 short months has been remarkable! Congrats to all the girls and coaches!
Aneesh’s opponent was unable to wrestle today so he wins his consolation quarterfinals match by medical default. He is now in the top 6 and will wrestle his consolation semifinals match in about an hour.

Great week of camp with these little hammers! The kids worked hard, had positive attitudes, and did their best. Thank you to the parents for bringing them and special thanks to our high school wrestlers for helping out at both sessions each day!
Kendra wins to move onto the semifinals and is now a 2x State Placer! Down 2 late in the match she hits a last second move to win 5-2. Grace lost her quarterfinal match and will now wrestle back through the consolation bracket. Both girls will be up again later this afternoon.
Kelsey wins by pin and is a state placer! She guarantees a spot on the podium! She will wrestle later tonight and tomorrow morning to see how high she can climb!
Kendra takes 4th place in the state of Ohio. While both girls ultimately fell a little short of their goal they represented their school, their families, and themselves with courage, class, and toughness.
