Kinda proud of this kid. After her doc appt today with news of some more tough decisions yet to be made, Heidi was still happy to deliver her money to CC today from her and her sisters calf sale.

A young Manitoba girl was able to raise tens of thousands of dollars for CancerCare Friday afternoon, and all it took were some generous ranchers and a local auction house. Will Reimer reports.

Total sale day donations was $40525. We are thankful and truly blessed for all the amazing people in the livestock industry.

Big thanks to Wpg Livestock Sales. Heidi’s 645lb steer sold and was donated back 11 times to resell for a Grand total of $37470. All proceeds from the sale will be donated to Cancer care Wpg. Thanks to all involved to make this happen.

Off to the sale barn with Heidi’s calf in tow. Dec 3 at 12 noon Wpg livestock sells Heidis calf. She has decided to give all proceeds to cancer care in hopes of helping find a cure. Heidi continues to battle an incurable brain tumour.

Dec 3 Wpg livestock sales will sell 13 yo Heidi’s calf and she will be donating all proceeds to paediatric cancer care. Heidi has been battling a brain tumour and is currently on treatment.
