Wrapped up a great first week of classes with a stop at the College of Ag Burger Bash! I appreciate all our campus faculty and staff for the energy and care they’ve put into welcoming students back. There were so many great events and moments across LSU this week.

LSU Health New Orleans and LCMC Health are working to secure Louisiana’s first NCI-designated cancer center. Last week, NCI Director Dr. Douglas Lowy met with LSU and state leaders to advance the initiative of bringing world-class cancer care to Louisiana.
