MPs talking about "stopping digital ID" keep saying "cards". I think it's purposeful doublespeak. Cards are not how it works. You authenticate into the centralised digital ID system - one Login - WITH ID. Then you get a token to access services to prove that ID. There's no card

Isn’t it time consumers imposed their own terms & conditions on suppliers? Companies hide behind lawyers to deny their customers a fair and equitable product or service.

UK unemployment rate rose from 4.7% to 4.8% from June until August 2025. The rise was attributed to the younger generation finding it difficult to find suitable work. We there's a surprise. Wouldn't be anything to do with an increase in NIC contributions, would it?

@LOVillaJavea If they didn’t spend £1/2m on something that would cost a tenner, how would cash get funnelled & tentacled out to groups like Hope Not Hate, Stand up to Racism and the likes? Because that’s how that system works!

@accountingetc @LOVillaJavea We all know the nightmare we already face from bureaucracy when the corporate computer says 'NO' now imagine how bad this will be when everything we have is tied to the mandatory government-issued digital ID and the system says 'NO'

The marketing teams responsible for this should be ashamed of themselves.
This is an actual UK government ad from the NHS that came out yesterday I have nothing but questions. Why is the woman holding a fake ball against her stomach? Why is she black when most women in the UK are white? Why are they pushing vaccines for colds/flus onto pregnant women?
