A major new effort to recruit world-renowned faculty will directly support UT’s rise as a leader in research, innovation and discovery.

About 75% of all plastic used is either landfilled or cast into the environment, leading to microplastics that can cause harm to animals, plants and humans. UT researchers are studying how to reduce their harm on us and the environment.
