Epitaxial #hBN can be used in the development of quantum technologies. Our PhD student @Kasia_Ludwiczak presented our work concerning light emission from the defects in hBN during #SinglePhotonWorkshop #SPW @KISTKOREA

Using #FTIR spectroscopy we reveal significant reduction of #hBN layer-substrate interaction as well as detecting high electron occupation on shallow traps using phonons. More can be found in our latest paper in @IOPscience .

Our representation just came back from #IWN2022 conference. Epitaxial #hBN is more and more important part of III-N family what is proven by the decision of conference jury. @LML_fuw won best poster award. Congratulations to Piotr Tatarczak whose poster won the competition.

Congratulations for PhD Aleksandra Dąbrowska and PhD Arkadiusz Ciesielski! During @europeanmrs Fall Meeting 2022 they presented new approaches to hBN growth. They showed how to obtain great quality hBN layers or Bragg reflectors in a single process.

We stay in graphene conference topic. This week our representation took part in 7th Polish Conference "Graphene and other 2D materials" in Łódź, Poland. We presented 5 contributed talks and 1 poster.
