maybe you think gaming circles aren't that serious and that it isn't the community responsibility to deal with sticky issues when they arise. i dont think this is a realistic position to have as offline scenes for FGC/Smash continue to grow (and we should want them to grow!)

with 0 consequences, many would take it. i can respect the enthusiasm people have in defending vulnerable populations, but I think a dedicated dispute resolution mechanisms should replace the job of the collective righteous anger of well-intentioned, but all too often misinformed
