USS Bonhomme Richard has developed an aggressive mitigation strategy to minimize the spread of #COVID19 and protect our force. Checkpoints are set up prior to entering the ship to screen the crew and a separated area is used to further evaluate any of our Sailors. #USNavy

BHR's commanding officer, Capt. Rich LeBron, met with Raymond Ruiz, principal, and Delia Arancibia, assistant principal of Lincoln Acres Elementary School to officially kick off the partnership between the ship's crew and the students.

Captain LeBron, our commanding officer, spoke with the indoctrination class about our command philosophy of Ready Now, Ready Always! He gave a motivational speech about the Navy and explained the importance of training, maintaining, cleaning, preserving and operating.
