Happy Father’s Day to all the dads! I have been fortunate to spend my morning with our students at the Temple of Poseidon. Mr. Wilson and I both were told happy Father’s Day by all the students in our group. How cool! #wearewayne @LHCWilson @Damon6961

Our students took a guided walking tour with a local guide of the Temple of Apollo. We were able to see what was left of the area and discover the rich history of the area! We are learning so much about Ancient Greek history in our trip. #wearewayne @LHCWilson @Damon6961

We first stopped at an olive farm in Delphi. Our students learned more about olives and how Greeks use them within their cuisine. We also learned that there are more than 1 million olive trees in the region. Our students were able to sample items #wearewayne @LHCWilson @Damon6961

Today, we navigated to the city of Delphi, Greece which was a 3 hour long bus ride. While it was a long ride, the views of Greece were absolutely breathtaking. We also met up with another group from Houston, TX who will join us for the rest of the trip. #wearewayne @LHCWilson

The Acropolis Museum is rich in culture with lots of artifacts from in and around the Acropolis. Very cool reading and learning about all the items in the Museum with our Lynhurst students. #wearewayne @LHCWilson @Damon6961 @WayneTwpSuper

Lynhurst goes to GREECE! We spent the day at the Acropolis and were able to see the Parthenon. We learned more about the rich history with a guided tour from a local expert. Acropolis (which means “high city”) also has stunning views of Athens! #wearewayne @LHCWilson @Damon6961

Members of our Lynhurst 8th grade band played the national anthem at the Indianapolis Indians game tonight. It takes guts to play in front of this large crowd. Proud of our kids! #wearewayne @LHCWilson @Damon6961 @Giantbands @lynhurstband
