Ward 1 star of the month is the wonderful Maureen. Although she is one of our more quieter members of staff we wanted her to know that her hard work and fantastic documentation has not gone unnoticed by the team and how appreciated she is by us all. Thank you Maureen x

Due to the fantastic effort put in by all the wonderful staff on Ward 1 which has made a significant improvement in our metrics scores. They are all stars 🌟 of the month in the Ward Sisters eyes and have received a toaster in recognition of their hard work 🥳

Despite being relatively new to Ward 1. Nimiya had been a fantastic addition to the ward family. She has been proactive in attending extra training, is enthusiastic, hard working and attentive to all our patients.Well done nimiya. Star of the month for April ⭐️ ⭐️

Our Beautiful Taru retired this morning after 27 years at UHL. Ward 1 will miss her terribly 😔. We wish her a wonderful retirement and hope she gets plenty of time to work on her garden. 🌹🥀🌺
