Firearm suicides remain disproportionately high among rural populations, leaving a devastating impact on tight-knit communities and families alike. Grant funding is now available for local governments and non-profits to apply for who work to prevent and respond to firearm.

Collective bargaining improves wages, ensures safe working conditions, creates stability in the workforce and most importantly, it’s a protected right in Pennsylvania. I stand with our workers today and everyday, those who are unionized and those who are fighting to be, as we.

Education is one of our biggest priorities in Pennsylvania and for the Trump Administration to walk away from students and teachers and block $230 million in funding to our classrooms, is disgraceful. Our administration is once again standing up to defend Pennsylvanians from.

Once again, the Trump Administration is trying to take away dollars that were committed to Pennsylvania — this time from our schools. I’m left with no choice but to sue the Trump Administration alongside 25 other states and force them to deliver the money our students and.

At this time, 911 services have been restored in Pennsylvania. An investigation into what caused intermittent outages will continue, and we will update you on that as soon as we can. We worked with counties to fully test that the system is operational. Please do not call 911.

This administration recognizes how essential our small businesses and main streets are for the success of our local communities. So far, we’ve invested $20 million in our main streets and we’re looking to invest another $20 million to improve sidewalks, lighting, and.

At minimum wage, a full-time employee will earn only $15,080 a year – far short of what’s needed to pay for rent, groceries, utilities, and more for the average Pennsylvanian. Every year, we’ve proposed raising the wage. It’s time to get this done.

The gun violence we saw this weekend in Philadelphia, and across Pennsylvania, should never be normalized in this Commonwealth. Everyday this administration is working to reduce gun violence by supporting the programs and the people who are on the front lines of this epidemic.

Violence is down across Pennsylvania thanks to a focused effort and collaboration between local, state, and federal law enforcement and increased violence prevention work. But that doesn’t mean we are free from the horrors of gun violence. What happened in Philadelphia over this.
