Group coaching at Your Space Career is changing. You'll be joining the community for at least 3 months. I've seen over and over how small communities who meet weekly for at least a couple of months form bonds that last.

That's what I offer with space career group coaching. It's why I pivoted away from private clients (although I still have some) toward creating small communities. I see how much the support can help people when they feel frustrated, depressed, and burned out.

But even better if the people you're leaning on for support have been where you are, share the same passion for space, and can guide you through this desert on the path toward the dream job you were just imagining.

3. Find your people. I'm an external processor. When I'm going through something, I want to run it by other people. Even just speaking it aloud or typing it out to another person can help, even if they say nothing in response.

2. Focus on your joy, your passion, and your end goal. Can you picture what your dream job is? Can you imagine what it would feel like to finally get that job? Allow that dream to carry you through the tough times. Persistence wins.

I don't have all the answers. But I do have some advice:. 1. Celebrate the small victories. Did you complete that application? Did you reach out to that person? Did you get a call-back? Did you learn something new today? Hang on to those wins.

It's a tough time right now on the job market. What do you do when you feel like you've done everything?. Where do you find hope when things feel hopeless?. How do you create motivation to keep going when there doesn't appear to be fruits from your motivation creation?.

Frustration. Depression. Burn-out. Those were the overwhelming feelings expressed in a previous group coaching call. I had a private call with a client that made me think for days. Different circumstances, same feelings.

Have you ever thought, “I can do that job because of the work I did on such and such”? Those are transferable skills. Today in Fuel Your Space Career at 1pm ET we will talk about how to communicate your transferable skills to a potential employer.
