Residents at Lawrence can learn comprehensive trans health including gender-affirming hormone therapy (GAHT) with dedicated GAHT preceptors. Our gender care program now cares for more than 200 patients, most with resident PCPs. #gendercareisprimarycare #aafpnc @aafp #lovelawrence.

At Lawrence, full-spectrum family medicine very much includes maternity care. We have 23 (!) family docs who round on L&D including 12 who do C sections. 9 also round on inpatient medicine and C section training is available to residents in the OB AOC. #lovelawrence #aafpnc @aafp.
Today our faculty put on our first Maternity Care Faculty teaching session. 19 faculty were there (and one resident who will be faculty in a week!), all of whom do prenatal care. 16 do deliveries including 8 who do C sections. 12 also round on inpatient medicine. #lovelawrence
