Year 3 @CCJacademy have been busy priming their surfaces, ready to draw their final piece next week. We experimented with natural pigments 🎨🖌 made from turmeric, coffee and clay powder, inspired by the Paleolithic people living in 8000 BCE🪵🪨. #WeAreLEO #Primaryart

The artwork produced by our Year 6 children has blown us away this week 🔥💨👏🏼Inspired by Lubaina Himid, the children have been exploring disciplinary questions that art critics or scholars use to study artwork, using mark cards to recreate images and experimenting with textures!
