Today our DAs joined Rep. Villio and the Governor for the signing of HB 260 which adds the crime of resisting a police officer with force or violence to the list of offenses which constitutes second degree murder; and adds certain drug offenses to the manslaughter statute.

Last week, our team had the privilege of conducting a comprehensive Human Trafficking Training in Lafayette, LA. This initiative aimed to raise awareness and equip local professionals with the knowledge to identify and combat human trafficking in the state of Louisiana.
