As we celebrate Education Week, it’s a great time to highlight learning opportunities like in-person student exchanges. Students will learn how to communicate and collaborate with diverse cultures, learn more about international communities and become active global citizens.

There is a mental health crisis in schools and families are begging for more support. @AdrianaLaGrange & the UCP are failing them. Families deserve a government they can trust to support them during these uncertain times. #MentalHealthWeek #abed #ableg #EducationWeek #GetReal

Experts continue to see major flaws in the K-6 curriculum, as the @Alberta_UCP ramp up diagnostic testing. We need reforms to support the WHOLE child in pandemic recovery. MORE social/emotional development, exercise & creative (free) play & LESS TESTING! #abed #yeg #yyc #abpoli

.@AdrianaLaGrange @Alberta_UCP There are 59 days left in the the 2021-2022 school year, and most school divisions only have one PD day per month. Where is the new curriculum that you want taught in September? ......and don't forget the resources to support it's implementation?

Two years ago today, just weeks into the pandemic, and while schools were scrambling to figure out remote emergency teaching and how to meet their students' needs, the government laid off 26,000 education workers. On a Saturday, using social media.

Proceeding with the implementation of the flawed draft curriculum, which has very little public support, is a mistake that can be avoided. #ditchthedraft See you Saturday. Check out https://t.co/PEeGUaisAM for more details and locations.

Happy #RedforEdAB everyone! I wish this government prioritized education for all, rather than a select few.
