Today we remember FF Trevor Brown of @SterlingFire. FF Brown lost his life in the line of duty during a catastrophic home explosion in the 300 blk of Silver Ridge Dr. in Sterling on Fri., 2/16/24. We will never forget his sacrifice & the sacrifice of his family.

PARENTS: Please talk w/ your children about the serious risks of playing on frozen bodies of water. #LCFR has already responded to several incidents today involving kids attempting to skate/play on the ice. Even if ice looks solid, it can be dangerously thin & unpredictable.

If you’ll be out clearing sidewalks & driveways today, it’s important to remember shoveling can be more strenuous than it seems. Cold temps & overexertion can lead to serious injuries, including heart attacks, so be sure to review these safety tips before you head out. ⬇️

Today we remember Lt. Alex J. Keepers, who was tragically killed in a vehicle accident on his way to work at FS3 (Middleburg) on 12/31/07. Lt. Keepers joined #LCFR in January ‘02 as a member of RC6. We honor his service & never forget his sacrifice & the sacrifice of his family.
