I never understood what is the point of knocking what someone else is doing. All these Certified Events are good for the players... It doesn't matter what the name of the event is if it's an air condition gym or played outside. If the event has PLAYERS coaches will be there.

2026 kids don't get discouraged if coaches are not at your games. You are not a priority at this time. Be patient, your time will come.

Fresh off a UCLA offer, Hartland's 2020 post-Whitney Sollom has been the best player at the Bowling Green team camp. Perimeter shot is on point, handling the ball in open floor & her rebounding has been phenomenal.

It should be no excuse for any player not to get better. You have many parks and indoor facilities nowadays to have an excuse. The 30 minutes y'all spend making Tik Tok routines spend that time working on your skill or your conditioning and watch how much better you will be.

As a HS coach, you can't blame travel teams for not getting your players exposure. It is also your responsibility to help your kids get exposure as well. Playing quality opponents, top showcase events, good multi-team scrimmages, and having open gyms will help.

Parents: Some courts will be full with college coaches and some will not. It's not the tournament director or travel team coach fault. Sometimes that's just the way it is. Remember these coaches are playing catch up. They will not be able to see everyone in 6 days.

Recruits be careful when it comes to big-timing schools. The transfer portal is changing the recruiting game. If a school gets a kid out of the portal at your position, guess what... your phone may stop ringing. Be consistent and show love to those that show love to you.
