We are continuing our search, our investigation has narrowed our search to one floor and location in a building of the 900 block of Broadway.

We have declared this a barricaded suspect and our SWAT team with Crisis Negotiation team has set up containment and is establishing lines of communication with the occupants of the location in attempt to gain willful complaince and render the situation safe.

No victims have been located. We continue to advise the public and other residents in the area to continue to shelter in place and follow the orders of the officers in the area.

As of now, there are no reported victims linked to this incident. The investigation is affecting the area between 8th Street and Olympic Blvd/Main Street and Hill Street. Expect traffic delays and street closures. We are advising residents in the area to shelter in place.

The responding officers requested additional resources and, out of an abundance of caution, are actively searching the large apartment complex for any potential victims, suspects, or evidence related to this incident.
