This 24-year-old woman was 8 months pregnant when diagnosed with #COVID19 . She was unvaccinated. Doctors at a Lafayette hospital delivered her baby 8 days after her diagnosis. 5 days later, she was placed on a ventilator and is fighting for her life.

ICYMI #Louisiana will receive an increase of #COVIDvaccine doses next week, from 58,150 doses this week to 67,350 doses (29,250 Pfizer, 38,100 Moderna) next week. This is still a very limited supply, but we appreciate the increase. Every vaccine dose is a potential life saved.
