The Break It to Make It Program pushes students to reach their educational aspirations and prepares them for various career pathways to achieve self-sufficiency. BITMI serves approximately 125 to 130 formerly incarcerated students per year. Read more here

The First Year Experience (FYE) program helps new students to be successful in their transition to college life. FYE offers guaranteed courses in the first semester, priority registration, free tuition for the first year for California residents and more!.

Odetta Holmes earned a degree in classical music from LACC. She was known for a blend of folk, blues, ballads, and spiritual songs, inspired by the music of the South. Odetta passed away in 2008 but her legacy lives on through her art and we're proud to call her an LACC alumna!
