Pretty simple, Fortnite has a consistent art style that brings skins into it. The slop of 'ugh ugh everything is Fortnite' never takes into account that the skins in Fortnite still fall into the aesthetic/look where Call of Duty does not. It's a perk of not looking 'realistic'.
How is it possible that in an effort to copy Fortnite, COD now has less identity than Fortnite now?.
