I’ve received questions about how I pronounced “Pennyroyal” and “Cadiz” in my inauguration poem. That’s how most Kentuckians would say those words. I intentionally included words that would allow Kentucky pronunciations to help capture our specificities.

Huge news for our city! We are excited about the potential of bring passenger rail back to Louisville for the first time in decades. Thank you to the @kipda for partnering with us on this grant.
As we aim to modernize Louisville's transit, I'm thrilled to share news of a $500,000 grant for a passenger rail line between Louisville and Indianapolis. This is the first step in our journey to bring @Amtrak service back to our city, linking us to Indianapolis and beyond.

We bought a building in Jenkins, KY! No, we're not moving yet, and we certainly aren't leaving Letcher County. But while we host community listening sessions to decide next steps, this space above the floodplain will allow us room to plan for more permanent location options.
