You truly are an ignoramus. Al-Qurtubi, and the Ash'aris more generally, DO NOT believe that "Allah spoke the words of the Qur'an." Stop posing as a scholar when you don't even know the basics of what you're discussing.
Does God praise Himself? I just read this in Qurtubi's commentary on the Qur'an. He is responding to the Qur'an itself saying (in the Fatiha), "praise be to God Lord of the worlds" and since God spoke the words of the Qur'an, this is God saying "praise be to God."
