I’ll never forget walking into Bristol in the late 1990s/early 2000s. 150k people screaming, a gazillion flashbulbs going off. As cliche as it might sound, it felt like I was literally accompanying the head gladiator into the Roman Coliseum. That feeling doesn’t exist today.
