I love this scene. At the beginning of a trail at Red Rocks Open Space, I looked up and saw this gorgeous color scheme that was simple yet beautiful. The snow offsets the shadows perfectly and perched on top of the rock formation is a hawk searching for prey.

😍 My husband is currently deployed working for the US Embassy in another country, and we’ve missed at least 8 major holidays together this year but he’s been sending me flowers often, which makes my heart swoon every time. 💛 One more month and no more deployments! 🇺🇸

Bighorns! I have close ups but not too close because I wasn't expecting to see them and I had Rocky with me. I think my 4 year old was more annoying to them than Rocky was. He didn't bark once, but he did "BFFF" because he's an anxious rescue pup. Anyway, I love bighorns. 😍

You ever get so frustrated with a photo while you're editing that you edit it to be nearly unrecognizable? That's what I did here. I kind of like it. But it does have an eerie essence to it... abstract and hideously beautiful. The shadows are disappearing into the rainbow.
