The Coalition of the Willing is clear: pressure stays until the agressor gives in. Sanctions keep coming. Frozen assets will be used and the shadow fleet stopped. The only endgame is a just and lasting peace. Security guarantees for 🇺🇦 must be ready. 🇪🇪 has defined its share.

Full solidarity with Lithuania @IRuginiene @GitanasNauseda. Russia’s airspace violation is yet another provocation – they keep poking NATO borders. NATO air policing worked: fast response, intruders gone. Only strength and unity deter the Kremlin.

My three messages to #EUCO: First, we must quickly make use of Russia’s frozen assets. Second, Eastern Flank Watch needs to become the EU’s flagship project. Third, simplification is the key to competitiveness: we must share data and ask for it only once: videolink

Important at #EUCO today to show firm support for Ukraine. We must keep pressure on Russia’s economy and use its frozen assets. To strengthen Europe’s security, we need joint action and investments in the Eastern Flank.

Estonia, together with other European leaders, affirms that borders must never be changed by force. We must do everything to put #Ukraine in the strongest position and keep pressing Russia until Putin is ready for peace:
