Too important to that we’re told we shouldn’t be allowed to strike. Too unimportant to be paid correctly. Great support today at King George hospital from public and residents alike. Drs don’t want to strike but inaction from the government has forced us here. @BMAResidents.
Doctors are picketing at Wes Streeting's local hospital today. Lots of public have been showing their support for doctors. Mr Streeting must get back around the negotiating table. There is a deal that can be done.

Continuing to accuse @TheBMA and it’s members of “harming the public” from the gov will only exacerbate & prolong industrial action. Mr Barclay hasn’t sat down with Drs around the table in >140 days. Let us get back to work & tackle the myriad of other challenges the NHS faces.

The gov timing about the Minimum Service Levels Bill is another low blow which detracts from the main issues and doesn’t address why doctors are striking. The public consultation is open now and would highly advise you take a look at what’s being suggested

As a reminder - Junior doctors don’t want to strike. We are forced into this position by a government unwilling to come to the table. Let us continue to provide the service we can but pay us fairly.

Junior Drs showing that we are stronger than ever. BALLOT 1➡️BALLOT 2. Eligible Members:.47,692➡️61,826 (+14,134). Returned Ballot:.36,995 (77%)➡️44,079 (71%). Voted Yes for Strikes:.36,218 (98%)➡️43,340 (98%). 7,122 more yes votes #fullpayrestoration.
