The JNJ vaccine results indicate we miraculously have at least 3 safe, highly effective vaccines. Headlines focus on the 66% overall efficacy. But the big deal is that the single-dose vax was 100% effective against severe disease after day 49, and 85% effective by day 28.

Great example of the commitment by #JNJ to develop its #DataScience capabilities with the goal of improving human health. An early step in a long journey.

One dose and standard refrigeration will enable this vaccine to have extraordinary global impacts in the fight against #COVID.

Yes. It's worth adding: Both the JNJ 1-shot vaccine and Novavax vaccine appeared highly effective in stopping severe disease-including hospitalization and deaths-with mutant strains. We'll need to see more data, but we appear to have effective vax now and they can be upgraded.
