Ash‘aris use this ridiculous strawman; that Hanbalis (Sunnis) supposedly went to the extreme and claimed paper and ink and leather of the mushaf are uncreated. This baseless slander was copied from each other and repeated century after century in their worthless books
Once upon a time Hanbalis would almost takfir you for a statement like this, since they took uncreatedness so literally that they insisted it applies even when talking about specific, concrete Quran codices. One example of where, essentially, reason has modified an older dogma.
