.... In Nig, nursing isn't subsidized or funded by the government at any level .... as obtainable in medical residency... this is one of the things the strategic plan just launched by BAT and FMOH aims to checkmate. And as i said, in a working economy....i share in his thoughts.

The NMCN Act 1979, amended 2004 and 2022, the WHO African Regional Regulatory framework 2016...doesn't support this shaa... Meanwhile : i get your point, and i think i support it (my opinion). But in Nigeria; this isn't vetoed by any document... an RN can scrub and circulate.
It's quackery to scrub in for a surgery when you are not a certified peri-op nurse even if you are nurse.

Yes, chief.. The problem is that...most of our students and even practicing professionals don't have institutional based exposition on these things. Their best bet come from discourses on spaces like this. Sad that it has become extremely volatile.
@KpoabariRN I’m open to it; however, I must admit I’m skeptical, because X, as I see it today, is no longer a place for real conversations. The spark may start here, but the real discussions that shape things often happens offline.

Whosoever is involved in lecturing nursing students on "Concepts..."...or "medical jurisprudence..." I think i did them in part 3.. Should please present the NMCN and Nannm constitution to them. Together with PSR documents for 2008, and 2023 too.. ....

.... Too many Nurses don't know the policies guiding their practice. Even the loopholes should be spelled out. It'd solve so many issues on Twitter timeline Dear Nursing leaders, it's time to stop hoarding our policy documents and briefs. If possible, paste them in the wards
