When a player signs for a club, his salary should be linked to a release clause value, ie, £200k week = £80m. That clause should then amortise over the length of a contract, per window, ie, a 10% decrease each window over a 5 year contract, etc. everyone knows where they stand.

I see this has gone over the heads of a lot of fans.
If Liverpool continue like this the Premier League must really consider implementing rules against sustainable and competent ownership, the competitive balance of the league is at stake here.
