Sandra was our first sponsored student back in 2009 when we got started.. We have supported her through her medical school, her internship and finally through her Masters in Surgery. She has now graduated as a surgeon, one of the few women surgeons in Uganda !

Advocacy & storytelling are tools that can be used to make stakeholders aware of an issue and to call on them to take action. 165 CHEWs were trained in Lira District using the CHW advocacy training course which aims at equipping CHWs with the skills to have their voices heard.

With support from @GouldFamilyFoundation, Nama Wellness received an Automated Chemistry Analyzer that will be used to perform tests such as Liver Function test, Renal Function test, Lipids profile, Pancreatic enzymes test, Tumor Markers analysis and Electrolytes profile.
